To the young...
I really appreciate older people who think that today's youth can do something about the problems of our world and society. It's really inspiring, and comforting to know that at least someone thinks we're not doomed. The reason I say this, is 'cause I was inspired by 'Thirteen Days' to go rent 'JFK'- (but it was gone when I got there!-its never gone!- but then it came back) and at the end of the 3 hr. and 6 minute movie, at the very end, it says that its 'dedicated to all the youth, wherein whose hearts the need for truth marches on' - (or something like that) . There was a big Alex "ooooooooh"on the inside when I read that. And while watching 'JFK', I realized that the accents on 'Thirteen Days' really aren't all that awful- they are actually quite good, and yay for Kevin Costner! Such a 60's-lovin' lad he is. And I'm really excited for Art Seminar next semester- I just hope I have time to do all the things I want to do...like another Marlon, and my Jack and Bobby pic, and I think I want that one where JFK's son is saluting to him at his funeral- so sad- but yes, sorry for all the sporadic thoughts, and yay for JKRowling finishing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!!!!!!!!!!!
