I need to know everyone's thoughts on Pirates of the Caribbean 2. First of all, I liked it a lot, I laughed a lot, BUT I thought it was almost too much, that everything was ALMOST overdone, and I hate that they made Commador Norrington into not-a-very-nice man, and everyone else is snotty and Elizabeth has lost her mind and I HATE cliffhangers, (but love Betso). I did like Orlando in this one though. Anyway, comments? Go.

i enjoyed pirates of the caribbean 2. i laughed, it was exciting, but i totally agree with the overdone thing. a lot of the fights took place on things that rolled and it was just becoming too much perhaps. i think the commador is still a nice guy, just looking out for himself since no one gives him the time of day. perhaps he'll tell elizabeth he loves her in the next one and hand over the such and such.
the cliff hanger was dubious.
no body fricking died! weren't they dead in the last one?!?! what?! scallywag!
orli was good and so was his dad. poor guy.
jack and elizabeth are both just messes.
that movie ended with so much conflict!! gah. it's no wonder i yelled at the screen, wanting to cry, wanting to laugh so hard at the utter ridiculousness.
this is one mixed review...
3 stars for entertainment and laughter
lack of 2 for the cliffhanger and abundance of unsteady fencing ground
well....i really enjoyed the movie. it's difficult for me to describe sometimes, but I think i understand what i didn't like about this movie. In the first movie, everyone loved Depp...he was really good, it's understandable. I feel this influenced the other actors' choices in this film to bring their acting up to a higher level, like Depp. This, however, created a very corny setting for Bloom and Knightley. They seemed too cheesy and annoying to me in the movie. I actually felt Bloom and Knightley were better in the first movie, and I love Depp again. yay!
Ok, so i liked the movie, and I can't believe that we're opening tomorrow and previewing tonight. So fast! So fast! haha, we'll be great! yay us. Yay U of M!
